The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa department of Information has started Integrated Advertisement Management System (IAMS) for transparent issuance, processing and award of advertisement to newspapers and media.
The system would start working from October 5 on experimental basis wherein all government advertisements to media would be issued and accessed online, after success of the project it would be formally inaugurated and become part of the system, said a press release.
It said that the project has been started as per vision of Prime Minister’s e-vision to improve good governance and ensure transparency in day to day affairs in public departments.
The software for the project had been developed by IT sector of the information department from own resources that would make the billing and payment process online through the website.
