Khyber Pakthunkhwa Government would start construction work on three high rise buildings to provide low-cost residential flats to poor people under Naya Pakistan Housing Project after Eidul Fitr.
Spokesman of Peshawar Housing Authority (PHA) Muhammad Waqas Anjum said on Friday that work on three high rise buildings having 20 floors plus ground floor would commence in the heart of Peshawar after Eidul Fitr where residential flats would be provided to poor people and low income groups.
‘One of such high-rise building would be constructed at Nishtar Abad and two on Warsak Road in Peshawar under Naya Pakistan Housing Project,’ he said.
He said Jalozai Housing Scheme in Nowshera district was another major project of KP Government being executed through PHA and KP House Department with collaboration of Naya Pakistan Housing and Development Authority where 1,320 low cost housing units were being constructed for low income groups, adding each house would cost about Rs 2.5 million.
He said Jalozai housing scheme was being constructed on 150 kanal with an estimated cost of Rs 3300 million where quality houses would be provided to those people having less than Rs 40000 per month income through draw.
Work on the project has already been started after its inauguration by the Prime Minister Imran Khan on April 21 that would be completed in record 18 months for which instructions of its timely completion were already issued.
