KP govt employees to enjoy Eid holidays

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government on Friday announced six holidays on the occasion of Eidul Fitr.

According to the notification issue here, Eid holidays in KP will start from April 21 and conclude on April 26.

Meanwhile, the federal government on Thursday announced a five-day-long holiday for Eidul Fitr in Pakistan.

According to a statement issued by the Ministry of Interior, the Eid ul Fitr holidays will be observed from Friday, April 21 to Tuesday, April 25.

The Ruet-e-Hilal Research Council (RHRC) said that chances of Eidul Fitr 2023 falling on April 21, Friday were very low as the new crescent will be born at 9:13 am on April 20 and its age will be less than 10 hours that day.INP
