LAHORE – Roof of King Edward Medical University’s Doctors Hostel collapsed, damaging dozens of vehicles.
As per initial reports, portion of dilapidated roof of KEMU’s doctors’ hostel on Hall Road collapsed last night which damaged dozens of parked vehicles. Luckily, no loss of life or injuries has been reported.
The inmates say that the authorities were informed about the dilapidated condition of the hostel two months back but without any positive response. They accused the administration of not taking appropriate measures which ultimately led to doctors’ losses of millions of rupees. They demanded immediate compensation for the losses and repair of the dilapidated hostel building.
