The 76th anniversary of the July 19 Accession to Pakistan Day was jubilantly marked across Jammu and Kashmir, and by Kashmiris settled in Pakistan and around the world renewing their pledge to complete accession mission at all costs; speakers including elected members, ministers, social elders in their speeches vowed not to rest till the ouster of India from a part of J&K state under unlawful military occupation.
The Day started with special prayers in mosques and shrines for early completion of the ongoing struggle of the Kashmiris loaded by now with half a million human sacrifices in the way of liberation and accession of entire state to Pakistan.
Re-dedication speeches with homage to Kashmiri martyrs were made at the mazar of veteran Kashmiri leader Sardar Abdul Qayyum Khan at Ghaziabad.
It was he who had practically initiated the Kashmir liberation movement on August 23, 1947, from the Heights of Neela Butt, earning for himself the popular respect of Mujahid Awwal in Kashmir history.
Rich homage was paid to Mujahid Awwal for his practical initiation of the Kashmir struggle against 100-year old Dogra misrule in the state.
Chief of Muslim Conference, ex-Prime Minister Sardar Attique Ahmed Khan elaborated the significance of July 19, 1947 and said that Kashmiris had taken wisest decision on that day enthusiastically by passing the resolution of Jammu and Kashmir’s Accession to Pakistan from the platform of their popular party All Jammu and Kashmir Muslim Conference.
July 19 is thus an ideology day whose geographic completion is an article of faith with each Kashmiri living anywhere across the world, he added.
He stated Indian oppression and atrocities in part of the state under her military today cannot last long.
India has lost her Kashmir grab oppressive goal.
Her induction of one million regular armed forces and three lacs other forces since August 2019 in occupied Kashmir is clear proof India has lost Kashmir grab greed, Sardar Attique added.
He lauded the steadfastness of the people and the armed forces of Pakistan for their unwavering support to the cause of Kashmir under all circumstances.
July 19 Accession to Pakistan Day event is official by observance and is regularly observed by AJK government since its founding in October 1947.
