Kashmir Solidarity Day was observed on Monday to express whole hearted support of Pakistani nation to the just struggle of people of Indian occupied Jamu and Kashmir for their inalienable right to self-determination under the United Nations resolutions. In this connection, flag hoisting ceremony was held at District Complex Hafizabad and one minute silence was observed at 09:30 am to pay homage to the martyrs of Indian occupied Kashmir.
Depuy Commissioner Hafizabad, Madam SundasIrshad and District Police Officer Faisal Gulzar unfurled national flag. Government officers, official and people belongs to different walks of life also attended the ceremony. On the occasion, DC said that Kashmir Solidarity Day was being observed to remine the whole world to resolve Kashmir Issue as per the aspirations of people of the Indian occupied Kashmir and to express whole hearted support of Pakistani Nation to the just demand to give right of self-determination according to the resolutions of the United Nations.
She urged the United Nation to ensure implementation on its own resolutions for holding plebiscite as well as to stop Indian brutality against suppressed people of Indian held Kashmir.
