KARACHI – The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecast mainly dry weather for Karachi, Hyderabad and most parts of Sindh during the next two days.
According to the synoptic situation, continental air prevails over most parts of the country.
A shallow westerly wave is present over northwest Balochistan.
Under these conditions, mainly dry weather is expected in Karachi, Hyderabad and most districts of Sindh on Tuesday night and the next two days.
Smog/fog is likely to prevail in Jacobabad, Mohenjo-Daro, Larkana, Sukkur, Dadu, Padidan and Ghotki during morning and night hours.
In Karachi, minimum temperature is likely to remain between 16-18 degrees Celsius on Wednesday and Thursday.
In Hyderabad, minimum temperature is likely to remain between 16-18 C on Wednesday and Thursday.
Meanwhile, dry weather prevailed over most districts of the province during the last 24 hours.
Mithi remained the coldest place in the province where mercury dropped to 07 C.
Relative humidity in the evening was recorded at 79 per cent.
In Karachi, minimum temperature was recorded at 15 C.
Relative humidity in the evening was recorded at 52 per cent.
In Hyderabad, minimum temperature was recorded at 17 C.
