Karachi Rifle and Gun Club hold competition

Karachi Rifle and Gun Club held its first hand gun shooting competition on the occasion of 74th Birthday of Pakistan on 14th August 2021. Mr. Kashif Hussain stood 1st with a score of 105 winning the Gold Medal, Mr. Shariq Majeed stood 2nd with a score of 99 and Mr. Saukat Ali attained 3rd scoring 84 points.

The guest of honor Olympian Mr. Qamer Ibraheem encouraged the efforts of Karachi Rifle and Gun Club stating that shooting is a Olympics sport and by arranging such tournaments KRGS is providing a platform for the young talent to showcase their talent.

Club secretary Syed Kashif Ali Hashmi stated that the objective of arranging such events is to encourage the youth to take on shooting as a sports activity.

Pakistan is full of talented youth who have the potential to win medals for Pakistan and help portray a soft image of Pakistan on global sporting platforms.—PR
