KARACHI – Significant rains with isolated heavy falls are likely in Karachi, Hyderabad and parts of Sindh on Tuesday night and Wednesday.
Per the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), monsoon currents from the Arabian Sea penetrate the southern and eastern parts of Pakistan. A shallow westerly wave prevails over Kashmir and adjoining areas.
Under these weather conditions, rains are likely in Sukkur, Larkana, Ghotki, Shikarpur, Kashmore, Dadu, Karachi, Hyderabad, Thatta, Badin, Tharparker, Sanghar, Khairpur, Umarkot, Mithi, Mirpurkhas and surroundings on Tuesday night.
On Wednesday, more rains are likely in Ghotki, Shikarpur, Sukkur, Larkana, Shaheed Banazirabad, Kashmore, Dadu, Karachi, Hyderabad, Thatta, Badin, Tharparker, Sanghar, Khairpur, Umarkot, Mithi, Mirpurkhas and surroundings. Heavy falls may occur at isolated places in Tharparker, Sanghar, Khairpur, Umarkot, Mithi, Mirpurkhas، Hyderabad, Thatta, Badin and surroundings during the period.
Karachi’s maximum temperature will likely remain between 32-34°C on Wednesday and 33-35°C on Thursday.
Hyderabad’s maximum temperature will likely remain between 33-35°C on Wednesday and 34-36°C on Thursday.
Meanwhile, rains with isolated heavy falls occurred in upper/southeastern Sindh during the last 24 hours.

In Karachi, maximum temperature was recorded at 33°C. Relative humidity in the evening was recorded at 64 per cent.
In Hyderabad, the maximum temperature was recorded at 34°C. Relative humidity in the evening was recorded at 73 per cent.
