Karachi gets holiday on June 29

KARACHI – A local holiday has been announced for residents of in Sindh capital Karachi for June 29 on account of Urs of Abdullah Shah Ghazi.

The 1,294th Urs of renowned Sufi Hazrat Abdullah Shah Ghazi is underway. People at shrine of famous saint will feature Qawwali session and other prayers after Isha prayers.

Karachi traffic police also issued an special route due to the closure of both tracks of the road under the flyover in front of the shrine of Hazrat Abdullah Shah Ghazi until July 22 on account of the 1,292nd annual Urs of the famous saint.
