Junaid condemns Mastung, Hangu blasts

Caretaker Minister for Culture, Sports and Youth Affairs Sindh, Dr Syed Junaid Ali Shah on Friday strongly condemned the blasts in the Mastung area of Balochistan and Hangu area of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The minister expressed condolences to the families of those who lost their lives in the blasts and prayed for early recovery of injured persons.

He said the nation was united against the menace of terrorism and terrorist elements would be dealt with iron hands. He said by committing a heinous act of terrorism on the sacred day of Eid Milad-ul-Nabi, the terrorist elements proved that they were enemies of Islam.

Those who target mosques and places of worship are also enemies of peace and humanity, the minister said. Dr. Junaid Ali Shah said the nation stands with the law enforcement agencies for the complete elimination of terrorism from our homeland.

He also paid tribute to the martyrs of the Pakistan Army, Police and other law enforcement agencies in the war against terrorism.
