Joint efforts needed to fight Covid-19

The Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Youth Affairs Muhammad Usman Dar on Wednesday has said that Covid-19 epidemic was a grave threat and joint sincere efforts from all the socio-political parties was needed to fight against it. Usman Dar warmly welcomed the participation of three National Assembly members from Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), in the meeting at the Deputy Commissioner Office regarding ‘corona relief tigers’. Uman Dar told that more than 20000 persons from different walks of life got registered as ‘corona relief tigers’ in Sialkot district and political workers among them were less than 3 percent. He said that ‘corona relief tigers’ were an apolitical outfit who must be respected and encouraged. He said that state institutions alone cloud not fight against Covid-19 and unified efforts from all the members of the society needed for that purpose.
