Japan keen to enhance cooperation with Pakistan in IT sector: Ambassador

Ambassador of Japan Mitsuhiro Wada has said his country wants to enhance cooperation in the field of information technology (IT) with Pakistan. He expressed these views during a meeting with IT Minister Syed Aminul Haque at the latter’s office on Tuesday.

Minister Aminul Haque said Pakistan greatly valued its relations with Japan and it is vital for the economy of the country.

Syed Aminul Haque said Pakistan had great potential in the field of IT and Japan could benefit from Pakistani IT experts. Japanese IT companies can hire the services of the Pakistani IT experts, he added.He said that the Ministry of IT & Telecom would extend every possible cooperation to facilitate Japanese companies.

Ambassador of Japan said Pakistani youths were able and talented and Pakistan’s IT experts could be beneficial for Japan. He also lauded the steps of the Ministry of IT & Telecom for the uplift of the IT and telecom sector. Senior officers of the Ministry of IT were also present in the meeting.
