Engineer Prof. Dr. Athar Mahboob Vice Chancellor said that the Islamia University of Bahawalpur plays a key role in the social and economic development of Bahawalpur region.
The Vice-Chancellor expressed these views while presiding over a meeting of administrative officers.
He said that Islamia University Bahawalpur has become very important for the development of the region in view of its size manpower, area and economic and educational importance.
He said that after the recent admissions, the number of students in the university will be around 50,000 to 55,000.—PR
