ISLAMABAD – Winter vacations have been announced for private schools and colleges in Islamabad, after the holidays were declared in all four provinces.

As per the schedule, the schools will remain closed in the federal capital from December 21, 2024 to January 5, 2025. However, the educational institutions will reopen on Jan 6.

In Punjab, the winter break will be observed from December 23 to January 10. The holidays will conclude on January 10, and schools will reopen on Monday, January 13, 2025, after the weekend holidays on January 11-12, 2025.

Meanwhile, Schools in Sindh including the provincial capital Karachi will remain closed from December 21 as authorities announced Winter Holidays 2024.

As per notification issued by the department, schools and colleges will remain closed from December 21 to December 31. Students will return to school from January 1, 2025.

The winter holidays schedule applies to both private and government educational institutions across Sindh. Students and staff members can now enjoy a well-deserved break before the new year.

The move is expected to provide relief to students and educators during the colder months, ensuring a safe and comfortable holiday season.
