ISLAMABAD – More rains with isolated heavy falls and hailstorms are predicted in Islamabad, Rawalpindi and parts of Pakistan on Sunday night and Monday.
Per the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), a shallow westerly wave prevails over the western and upper parts of Pakistan. It will likely strengthen tomorrow.
Under these weather conditions, more intermittent rains are likely in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, northeast/south Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Potohar region and Gilgit Baltistan on Sunday night and Monday. Heavy falls and hailstorms may occur in northeast Balochistan and south Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Hot and dry weather is likely elsewhere in the country.
Islamabad’s maximum temperature will likely remain between 32-34°C on Monday and 30-32°C on Tuesday.
Rawalpindi’s maximum temperature will likely remain between 29-31°C on Monday and 28-30°C on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, rains occurred in Islamabad, upper/central Punjab, Kashmir, upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Gilgit Baltistan during the last 24 hours.

Turbat remained the hottest place in Pakistan where the maximum temperature was recorded at 40°C. Maximum temperature in Nokkundi was recorded at 39°C.
In Islamabad, maximum temperature was recorded at 32°C. Relative humidity in the evening was recorded at 65 per cent.
In Rawalpindi, maximum temperature was recorded at 30°C. Relative humidity in the evening was recorded at 42 per cent.
