Intermittent light rain likely in Karachi, coastal areas of Sindh

KARACHI – Intermittent light rain is likely in Karachi and coastal areas of Sindh on Wednesday night and Thursday.
Per the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), monsoon currents from the Arabian Sea and the Bay of Bengal penetrate the upper parts of Pakistan. A westerly wave prevails over the upper parts of the country.
Under these weather conditions, cloud weather with intermittent light rain is likely in Karachi and coastal areas of Sindh on Wednesday night and Thursday. Hot and humid weather is likely elsewhere in the province.
Karachi’s maximum temperature will likely remain between 33-35°C on Thursday and 34-36°C on Friday.
Hyderabad’s maximum temperature will likely remain between 33-35°C on Thursday and 34-36°C on Friday.
Meanwhile, hot and humid weather prevailed in most parts of Sindh during the last 24 hours.
Sukkur and Mohenjo-Daro remained the hottest places in Sindh where the maximum temperature was recorded at 39°C. Maximum temperature in Nawabshah and Dadu was recorded at 38°C.
In Karachi, maximum temperature was recorded at 32°C. Relative humidity in the evening was recorded at 72 per cent.
In Hyderabad, maximum temperature was recorded at 33°C. Relative humidity in the evening was recorded at 61 per cent.
