The Indus Hospital, Korangi Campus in Karachi, marked the unveiling of the Indus Hospital and Health Network’s (IHHN) Ramazan Campaign 2024. Among the attendees were esteemed media and government officials, valued donors of IHHN, senior leadership, and dedicated staff members. The primary goal of the Ramazan Campaign 2024 is to rally resources to sustain Pakistan’s largest private healthcare network. Salim Razzak Tabani, Chairman of the Fundraising Committee of IHHN’s Board of Directors, inaugurated the event with heartfelt remarks, emphasizing the organization’s unwavering vision and mission to provide free, indiscriminate, and high-quality healthcare services to the people of Pakistan and beyond.

Tabani expressed sincere gratitude for the steadfast support received from government bodies, private partners, generous donors, corporate entities, media collaborators, enthusiastic youth volunteers, and devoted ambassadors. He called upon everyone to join hands in making the Ramazan Campaign 2024 a symbol of hope for countless patients in need. Syed Mashhood Rizvi, Chief of Staff to the President and Executive Director of Communications and Resource Development at IHHN, shed light on the indispensable role played by IHHN as a vital national asset.

He highlighted the extensive network of 10 hospitals, 4 regional blood centers, 3 physical rehabilitation clinics, 38 primary care sites, and numerous public health initiatives spread across Pakistan. Rizvi acknowledged the formidable healthcare challenges in Pakistan, noting that annually, over 400,000 households plunge into poverty due to healthcare expenses, resulting in preventable deaths, particularly among vulnerable groups like children and women. Despite these obstacles, IHHN continues to serve over 500,000 patients monthly, with more than 70% benefiting from Zakat contributions.

Dr. Abdul Bari Khan, President of Indus Hospital & Health Network, expressed profound gratitude for the transformative journey that has established IHHN as a nationwide lifeline. He attributed the success and positive impact on countless lives to the blessings of the Almighty. Dr. Khan, while acknowledging the prevailing financial difficulties, appealed for unwavering support for Indus, ensuring its continued ability to serve those in need.
