ISLAMABAD – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan summoned seven members of the negotiations committee of the party to meet him at Adiala jail, the sources close to the development said on Thursday.
The negotiation committee comprising Opposition Leader Omar Ayub, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur, Asad Qaiser, Hamid Khan, Advocate Salman Akram Raja, Allama Raja Nasir Abbas and Hamid Raza Khan would visit the jail for the said meeting.
Faisal chaudhry, the lawyer of Imran Khan, submitted a request to the Adiala Jail administration regarding meeting of Imran Khan with the negotiations committee.
Earlier in the day, a meeting would take place at Adiala Jail between the negotiation committee, family members and former Prime Minister Imran Khan.
On Wednesday, Imran Khan once again issued an ultimatum until Sunday to have his two demands met, saying that after that, he would announce a civil disobedience movement.
After meeting Imran Khan at Adiala Jail, Aleema Khan revealed that Imran Khan had reiterated his demands for a judicial inquiry into the events of May 9 and November 26, as well as the immediate arrest of innocent workers.
