PTI chief and former Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that the days are gone when Martial Law was invoked. He made it clear that imposing any sort of Martial Law would be unconstitutional in Pakistan. He expressed these views in an interview with a media outlet on Wednesday. Khan termed threats of imposition of martial law in Pakistan unconstitutional. He was of the view that if the Supreme Court’s decision is not accepted, it means that the law in Pakistan is over and we are moving toward the law of the jungle.

He said that if the elected government did not have the authority and that authority was elsewhere then no administrative system could work. Imran said that the economy would not be able to recover without political stability through elections. The ruling coalition was seeing their defeat in elections.

Imran added that Pakistan would have to undergo surgery to recover and ‘big’ decisions are the need of the hour.
