Pakistan Hockey team earned praise by Chief of Army Staff General Syed Asim Munir following their silver medal finish at the Sultan Azlan Shah Cup.
In a statement, ISPR said General Syed Asim Munir received the Pakistan Hockey team at General Headquarters Rawalpindi on Friday.
President Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) Tariq Hussain and other PHF officials also accompanied the players for the meeting.
Army Chief commended the team for their outstanding performance, saying “The hockey team has brought immense pride to the nation, and we are committed to providing them with comprehensive support to ensure their continued success.”
Gen Asim further extended his best wishes to the players for their future endeavors.
President of PHF expressed gratitude to the COAS for the opportunity to meet and interact with the team.
