IGP holds open court to listen problems of citizens

Inspector General Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar held an open court at the Central Police Office in which IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar issued relief orders after listening to the problems of citizens and police officials.

IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar sought reports from the concerned supervisory officers on the citizens’ requests and ordered the DPOs to conduct an inquiry under their supervision and provide relief to the citizens. IG Punjab while instructing the officers said that solving the problems of the citizens is among the top priorities so all the supervisory officers should speed up the priority actions on the requests of the citizens. IG Punjab further said that officers and personnel found guilty of violating SOPs during duty will not get any concessions. IG Punjab also heard the applications presented by the police personnel and their families in the open court. Dr. Usman Anwar ordered immediate relief according to merit to the Admin, Discipline and Welfare Branches on the requests of police employees.

IGP said that all requests including pension, discipline measures and leaves should be resolved on merit as soon as possible. IG Punjab said that the applications related to health welfare should be completed quickly so that all possible relief should be provided to the constabulary.
