The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP) hosted Members’ Convocation Ceremony for the newly qualified Chartered Accountants at a local hotel in Karachi.
120 newly qualified CAs of the Southern Region received their certificates, 6 students were awarded gold medals for outstanding performance and 13 students received merit certificates.
Fellow membership certificates were also awarded, for the first time, in Members Convocation Ceremony.
The ceremony was graced by the Chief Guest, Honorable Governor of Sindh Mr. Imran Ismail, Mr. Iftikhar Taj, FCA, President ICAP, Mr. Ashfaq Yousuf Tola FCA, Vice President ICAP, Mr. Muhammad Ali Latif, FCA, Vice President ICAP , Mr. Jafar Husain FCA, Council Member and Chairman Members Affairs Committee ICAP; Mr.Khalilullah Shaikh, FCA, Council Member ICAP; Mr. Khalid Rahman, FCA, Council Member ICAP; Syed Najmul Hussain, FCA, Council Member ICAP; Mr. Farrukh Rehman FCA, Council Member ICAP, Mr. Mohammad Zulfikar Akhtar, FCA Chairman SRC; Mr. Husnain Raza Badami, ACA, Member SRC; Syed Masood Akhtar, FCA, Secretary ICAP and the senior management of the Institute.
Mr. Jafar Husain, Chairman Members Affairs Committee and Council Member ICAP welcomed the newly qualified chartered accountants, guests and dignitaries.
In his welcome address, he congratulated them on achieving the milestone and welcomed them to the CA fraternity.
He urged the newly qualified members to continue their liaison with the Institute as members.
