How many animals were sacrificed this year in Pakistan on Eid ul Azha 2024?

Millions of animals were sacrificed on Eid ul Adha 2024 in parts of world while in Pakistan, the number of Qurbani animals stands around 6.8 million.

An estimate shared by Tanners Association claimed that 6.8 million animals goats, sheep, and cows wee slaughtered during the three-day festivity.

The average cost of animals was quite higher last year. However, the value of sacrificial animals and their skins lowered due to low demand.
