In anticipation of the Eid-ul-Fitr holidays, Zahid Chanzeb, Advisor to Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Tourism, Culture, Archeology & Museums, has announced the cancellation of holidays for tourism police officers and staff posted in tourist areas. This decision aims to ensure the provision of seamless services to tourists during the festive period.

Chairing a meeting to discuss tourism arrangements during Eid-ul-Fitr, Zahid Chanzeb underscored the commitment of the provincial government, under the directives of Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur, to provide optimal facilities to tourists. He emphasized that tourists could explore the serene locations of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa without apprehension, with the assurance of round-the-clock support from tourism authorities.

Present at the meeting were Secretary Tourism and Culture Department, Mohammad Bakhtiar Khan, DG KPCTA, Barkatullah Marwat, and other senior officials. Zahid Chanzeb outlined the comprehensive plan, stating that the Tourism Facilitation Centers (TFCs) and Tourism Police would ensure the availability of all necessary amenities for tourists. Additionally, Rescue 1122 officials and Tourism Police would be on duty at all times to maintain smooth traffic flow at tourist spots.

Tourists were encouraged to plan their trips and obtain route information by contacting the 24-hour active Tourism Helpline 1422. The helpline will provide assistance even in cases of vehicle breakdowns.
