Special Assistant to Punjab Chief Minister on Information Hasaan Khawar said on Sunday that holding of Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) meeting in Islamabad was a matter of pride for Pakistan.
In his statement, he congratulated the Prime Minister Imran Khan and said that credit goes to the premier for finding solution to the possible humanitarian crisis in Afghanistan.
He said: “PM Imran Khan has proved to be a spokesman of the Muslim Ummah in the real sense.”
The SACM welcomed the foreign ministers of all Muslim countries in Pakistan and said that Afghanistan issue needed global attention.
He further said that Pakistan had played a role of responsible neighboring country by convening the OIC meeting on Afghanistan issue.
Solution to Afghanistan problems was necessary for ensuring peace all over the world, he added.
