HFWTH organises blood donation camp

Hamza Foundation Welfare Thalassemia Hospital (HFWTH) Peshawar organised a blood donation camp at Jamia Darul Uloom Haqqania Malakand in which 37 volunteer students of the madrasa donated blood to save the lives of thalassemia and hemophilia patients. A total of 37 madrasa students are to serve the lives of the 1472 thalassemia patients.

In the camp, Hamza Foundation RMO Abrarullah Jan informed the participants about thalassemia disease, its prevention and the importance of blood donation. The participants were informed that it is the religious and moral duty of all citizens to cooperate to save the lives of children affected by thalassemia.

This disease can be prevented by a thalassemia test before marriage. According to the founder of Hamza Foundation, Ejaz Ali Khan, the institution currently has 1472 registered.
