Former Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi has said that the case established by National Accountability Bureau (NAB) against him has entered into the fifth year. Talking to the media at outside of Judicial Complex Islamabad on Tuesday, Shahid Khaqan Abbasi said that in year 2000, a case had lasted for 9 years.

“I think after two or three more years, we will have to get pension from NAB as pension is done in eighteen years and now it has been fourteen years”, he commented. Talking about the increasing petrol and electricity tariffs, he said that we will have to work hard to reduce the prices of electricity and petrol and decisions will have to be made.

Earlier, there was a failed government and may Allah guide them this time, he added. Talking about relations with Iran he said that Iran is our neighboring country and these relations should grow further. He said gas pipeline is not a political issue it is a legal issue.—Staff Reporter
