With the financial assistant of World Bank, three big roads of city Hafizabad with the cost of Rs. 360 million are being constructed for providing better communicational facilities to the citizens. Deputy Commissioner Hafizabad Umer Farooq Warriach inaugurated the projects at Kassoki Bypass, on Monday. ADCR/Administrator Municipal Committee Imtiaz Ali Baig, Deputy Director Development Hafizabad Hafiz Mubashar-ul-Hassan and other officers were also present on the occasion.
DC directed the concerned departments and constrictor to ensure use of quality material and timely completion of the projects so that people could get better communicational facilities at the earliest. On the other hand World Environment Day also marked in the district Hafizabad, on Monday. In this connection, a seminar and walk arranged at factory situated on Lahore-Sargodha Road near Sukheki Mandi.
Assistant Director Environment Hafizabad Naveed Ahmad led the walk and addressed the seminar. Inspector Environment Hafizabad Muhammad Zaman, officers and workers also participated in the seminar and walk. Naveed Ahmad said that World Environment Day observe to perused the people for focusing on tree plantation and other preventive measures to meat challenges of climate change confronted by the whole world.
