LAHORE – Grant Bradburn stepped down from his position as the Pakistan cricket team’s high-performance coach on Monday.
Right-arm off-spinner and a lower-order batsman who represented New Zealand in seven Tests and 11 ODIs has expressed gratitude for working with outstanding players and coaching staff during his five-year stay with Green Shirts.
He ended his first-class career with the most appearances for Northern District.
Bradburn was initially appointed as the head coach of Green Shirts last year but later the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) asked him and other coaches to work at the National Cricket Academy.

“Time to close the amazing chapter that has been Pakistan cricket. Three roles over five years, I am proud of what’s been achieved and grateful to have worked with so many outstanding players, coaches and staff. Wishing the teams, staff and everyone at Pakistan Cricket continued success and growth,” stated the 58-year-old Bradburn in a post on micro-blogging site X (former Twitter).
