The Second Meeting of FPCCI Central Standing Committee on Petroleum Product’s and Dealers held on Monday under the Chairmanship of Abdul Sami Khan (SI), Convenor of the committee, to highlight the problems being faced by the Petroleum dealers all across Pakistan.

The committee was attended by petroleum dealers all over Pakistan, including Ajk, Punjab, Sind, Baluchistan and AJK.

The convenor of the committee emphasised, that due to smuggling of petrol from neighbour country, the dealers are facing lot of loss in their business. Due to non/cooperation from government agencies, the volume of smuggling products is increasing day by day, almost more than 2 billion dollars per year loss to National exchequer.

Further, OMCs are also not cooperating with dealers which is causing great damage to the business on account of club cards expense and non-implementation of imposition of required fee as instructed by State bank.

As per the requirement, different committees were formed to address the grievance of the dealers including smuggling, local and nation issues with respective local Government, Explosives department and NHA.
