There is a dire need for policy making on priority basis to promote exports. Dr. Naaman Idrees Butt, a presidential candidate nominated by the United Business Group (UBG) for the Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI). These remarks were made by Riaz-ud-Din Sheikh group leader Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The luncheon was organized in Islamabad Industrial Association, by former ICCI Senior Vice President (SVP), Mahmood Voraich.
He said that the FPCCI is a representative body of the business community of Pakistan, whose voice is heard in the government chambers. The government should address the business community’s deprivation and reduce the duty on import of raw materials so that local industries stand on their feet. United Business Group (UBG) Leader Riaz-ud-din Sheikh said the Sialkot Chamber is being acknowledged all over the world because it promoted Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) .He said more than a dollar’s worth of Pakistani rupees. Industry production is experiencing severe declines that are poisonous to the economy.President Islamabad Industrial Association M Akram Farid remarked that Riaz-ud-din Sheikh has become a role model not only for Sialkot but for the entire Pakistani business community.
The able and caring leadership of SM Munir and Iftikhar Ali Malik has rendered at lot for businessmen of the country. He said that choosing a capable leader like Noman Idris Butt who will take the FPCCI to new heights. M Akram Farid said that Riaz-ud-din Sheikh was pleased to announce the committees of the relevant departments in the FPCCI, which included expert and experienced people. Individuals will be represented and recommendations will be made.
