Chief Minister Punjab Chaudhry Parvez Elahi has stated that provincial government is striving to im-prove education, health and other sectors to fulfill the vision of Chairman PTI Imran Khan with true spirit. We have continuously served the people of Punjab while opponents have remained engrossed in mudslinging only.
He expressed these views during meeting with Punjab government’s spokesperson Musarrat Jamshed Cheema and PTI leader Jamshed Iqbal Cheema who called on him on Friday. Principal Secretary to CM was also present. CM gave notification of new responsibilities to Musarrat Cheema and expressed good wishes for her success. The CM directed to fully project welfare-oriented initiatives of the Punjab government as sustainable measures have been taken to provide relief to the people in a short period.
The Punjab government gave a package of billions of rupees to rehabilitate flood victims, he noted. However, the CM regretted that the federal government has not given a single penny to the flood victims of Punjab. Alongside this, stamp duty has been reduced to one percent; he mentioned and added that Punjab Ehsaas Ration Discount Program has also been started with 100 billion rupees to provide edibles at 40 percent cheaper rates to eight million families.

On the other hand advisor to Chief Minister Punjab and Chairman Complaints Cell Zubair Ahmad Khan while reacting to the decision of Election Commission of Pakistan said that the leadership of PML-Q Chief Minister Punjab Chaudhry Pervez Elahi stands with Imran Khan with full support.
We jointly reject the decision of the Election Commission. And Imran Khan is the most popular leader of Pakistan and Muslim world. He further said that today’s decision proved Imran Khan’s position to be true. The Election Commission is the B- team of the PDM government. And today’s decision is the darkest chapter in history. Advisor to Chief Minister Punjab further said that people throw such decisions in the dustbin of history. And after the worst defeat in the by-elections, this government has lost its senses. Zubair Ahmed Khan further said that Imran Khan will come back with more power. The way of real freedom march cannot be blocked by such tactics.
