Sindh Government has announced the transfer and postings of several key provincial secretaries with immediate effect and until further notice. According to a notification issued by the Chief Secretary of Sindh, Commissioner Hyderabad Syed Khalid Hyder Shah has been transferred and appointed as the Additional Chief Secretary of Local Government, Housing, and Town Planning, replacing Manzoor Ali Shaikh. Zareef Iqbal Khero, formerly serving as the Chief Engineer Civil (BS-20), has been appointed as the Secretary of Irrigation, filling a vacant position.
Zahid Ali Abbasi, an officer of the Pakistan Administrative Service (PAS) currently serving as the Senior Member of the Board of Revenue Sindh, has been transferred and appointed as the Secretary of the School Education and Literacy Department, replacing Dr. Shireen Mustafa Narejo. Rafique Ahmed Burrito, also from the PAS, has been appointed as the Secretary of the Agriculture Supply and Prices Department, succeeding Aijaz Ali Shah.
Farhat Ali Junejo, an officer of the Police Service of Pakistan (PSP), has been appointed as the Chairman of Enquiries at the Anti-Corruption Establishment Sindh, taking over from Zulifikar Ali Shah. Baqaullah Unar, a former Provincial Civil Service (Ex. PCS) officer, has been appointed as the Senior Member of the Board of Revenue Sindh. Fayaz Ahmed Jatoi, a PAS officer, has been appointed as the Secretary of the Finance Department with immediate effect. Aijaz Ali Shah will now serve as the Secretary of the Works and Services Department, while Dr. Syed Muhammad Ali has been appointed as the Deputy Commissioner of Ghotki, succeeding Agha Sher Zaman, who has been transferred. Imtiaz Ali Abro, an Ex. PCS officer, has been appointed as the Director of Enquiries at the Anti-Corruption Establishment Sindh, effective immediately.
