Blasts regime for implicating Ejaz in false cases
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) West Punjab President Farrukh Habib said that imported government made the life of the poverty-stricken and inflation-ridden masses miserable, as inflation soared alarmingly to 38 percent, which was the highest ever inflation in the country. In a statement on Thursday, PTI West President Farrukh Habib stated that Pakistan’s highest ever inflation record was broken, as for the first time in 76 years, in May inflation rate has hit 38%.
He recalled that in April 2022 under Imran Khan-led government, inflation rate was 13 percent and economy was thriving fast. Farrukh Habib said that Shehbaz Sharif and his allies wanted to crush poor completely. He went on to say that the income of every citizen witnessed an alarming decrease due to which they were facing enormous hardship.
Farrukh Habib reminded that Shahbaz Sharif was used to say that he would turn around the economy and would rein in the inflation, but he made the life of the poor and the salaried class a hell. Lashing out at the fascist government for implicating PTI leader Ejaz Chaudhry in false and fabricated cases, he said that the police were using the same old and traditional interrogation style to blame anyone for anything during custody.
Farrukh said that it was ridiculous that political activists were being targeted for political vendetta, adding that Ejaz Chaudhry was being mistreated. Reacting to sealing business premises of Hammad Azhar illegally, he said that the fascist government has already destroyed economy and was now was forcing businesses to close. On the other hand Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) senior leader Hammad Azhar termed the allegations of his involvement in May 9 vandalism as a pack of lies and said now false and concocted news from ‘sources’ were being aired on TV channel to spin a narrative.
Reacting to a news report run on a private TV channel attributed to sources about his involvement in the vandalism, Hammad Azhar said that he was not even in Lahore on the day and had not contacted any party worker. The PTI leader stated that the allegations against him were a “pack of lies”, as he had gone away from Lahore for some important meeting on that day.
