Governor Sindh, Muhammad Kamran Khan Tessori, emphasized the critical need for innovation at Karachi Port to meet the requirements of the present era. Speaking during his visit to the South Asia Pakistan Terminal at Karachi Port, he highlighted the importance of modernizing port operations.
The event was marked by the launch of the Faceless Customs Assessment by Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif.
The ceremony was attended by federal ministers, senior officials, and other notable figures. Governor Tessori remarked that automation at Karachi Port would play a pivotal role in enhancing efficiency and meeting modern-day challenges.
The port’s operations will be further streamlined, with a focus on automating various processes to meet global standards and boost the country’s trade infrastructure.
