Good News for Students as Summer Vacations extended in another province

Students in several regions are getting extended summer holidays this year amid extreme weather conditions.

After Sindh, the government of Balochistan extended summer holiday period for schools and other educational institutions in the region. Classes will now resume on August 15 after directive from Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti.

Summer vacations are being extended to keep young learners safe from hot and humid weather.

Schools Summer Vacations Update

Before this, Sindh government also extended summer break for all schools in the province until August 14 as Met Office warned of extreme weather conditions.

With recent development, Sindh Education Department announced that new academic year will start on August 15, with Provincial Education Minister Syed Sardar Ali Shah citing severe heat and forecasted monsoon rains as reasons for the extension.

Schools and higher educational institutions in Sindh will also celebrate Independence Day on August 14.
