Gold rates in Pakistan surge to new record high: check latest prices on Aug 24

KARACHI – Gold prices in Pakistan maintained upward trend to hit another record high level on Saturday.

According to Sarafa Association, per tola gold price has reached to Rs263,700 after registering an increase of Rs1,700 whereas the price of 10-gram increased by Rs1,457 to reach Rs226,080.

In international market, the precious commodity also registered significant gains as per ounce price surged by $20 to reach $2,512.

Meanwhile, silver prices in Pakistan remained unchanged at Rs2,950 per tola and Rs2,529.14 per 10-gram.

On Friday, the per tola price surged by Rs200 to settle at Rs262,000, the highest ever rate in history of Pakistan. The price of 10-gram increased by Rs172 to reach Rs224,623.
