KARACHI – Gold rates in Pakistan saw another hike as yellow metal soared for the fourth consecutive session on Friday in line with international market.
Rates shared by Sarafa Association show local market saw single day jump of Rs2000 per tola and the new rate stands at Rs246,400, marking a single-day gain of Rs2,000. Meanwhile, the price for 10 grams of gold increased by Rs1740, currently standing at Rs211,247.

In international market, the price of gold increased by $24 to reach $2,388 per ounce while silver prices remained steady at Rs2,850 per tola.
Earlier this week, gold price per tola in Pakistan increased by thousands of rupees.
