KARACHI – Gold rates witnessed a drop in Pakistan on Saturday in line with changes in international market rates.
Over the weekend, the 24 carats of yellow metal saw a drop of Rs1100 and the new price settled at Rs246,500 per tola.
According to dealers, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold has decreased by Rs943, now trading at Rs211,334. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 22-karat gold has also dropped, now trading at Rs193,723.

The drop in prices is attributed to tweaks in the US Dollar rate, and international prices.
The price of 24-karat silver is currently at Rs2,650. Internationally, gold prices fell by $11 to reach $2,344 per ounce. Gold rates in Pakistan can change significantly throughout the day due to global market trends.
