Gold Rates come down in Pakistan in line with international market

KARACHI – Gold rates in Pakistan witnessed slight changes, with per tola rates coming down by Rs300 to Rs274,400.

Data shared by Sarafa Association shows gold per tola settled at Rs274,400, and price for 10 grams of precious metal recorded at Rs235,254, after drop of Rs257.

This is second drop in two days as prices decrease comes after a similar drop of Rs1,000 in the price of gold per tola on Friday.

Internationally, the price of gold also saw a decline, with the APGJSA reporting the rate at $2,632 per ounce, which reflects a $3 fall during the day. The global price included a $20 premium.

In contrast, silver rates remained unchanged, holding steady at Rs3,400 per tola.
