KARACHI – Gold prices in Pakistan plunged significantly on Friday a day after hitting all-time high in domestic market.
According to Sarafa Association, per tola gold price plunged by Rs3,000 to reach Rs251,000, whereas, the price of 10-gram decreased by R2,572 to settle at Rs215,192.
In international market, the price of the yellow metal dropped by $55 to settle at $2,415 per ounce.

Meanwhile, silver prices also saw a decline of Rs50 per tola to reach Rs2,850 while 10-gram decreased by Rs42.87 to settle at Rs2,443.41.
A day earlier, gold prices in Pakistan hit to record high on Thursday after witnessing a whooping increase in local market amid rising international prices.
Reports said per tola gold price increased by Rs4,600 to reach all-time high of Rs254,000, whereas the price of 10-gram gold surged by Rs3,944 to settle at Rs217,764.
