Gold prices in Pakistan plunge again – Check latest rate on May 24

KARACHI – Gold prices in Pakistan registered downward trend for fourth consecutive day amid decreasing international prices on Friday.

According to Sarafa Association, the per tola price dropped by Rs1,800 to settle at Rs240,200, whereas, the price of 10-gram gold dipped by Rs1,543 to reach Rs205,933.

The price of gold in international market also dropped by $17 to reach $2,338 per ounce.

A day earlier, the price of 24-karat gold plunged by Rs6,200 to settle at Rs242,000 in the South Asian country. The price of 10-gram gold also decreased by Rs5,315 to close at Rs207,476.

Meanwhile, silver prices in Pakistan remained unchanged at Rs2,800 per tola and Rs2,400.54 per 10-gram.
