KARACHI – Gold prices in Pakistan touched historic high level on last day of the running business week, Saturday, in line with upward trend in international market.
According to Sarafa Association, per tola price of gold surged by Rs4,900 to reach Rs245,100 while the price of 10-gram went up by Rs4,200 to close at Rs210,134 in the South Asian country.
Gold also witnessed gains in international market as per ounce price surged by $44 to close at $2,050 per ounce.
A day earlier, gold saw a decline on Friday in line with dropping international prices after registering gains in previous two consecutive days.
According to Sarafa Association, the per tola gold price decreased by Rs900 to close at Rs240,200 while the price of 10-gram dropped by Rs772 to Rs205,932.
