KARACHI – Gold rates in Pakistan witnessed a marginal increase, recovering from back-to-back losses amid negative trends in the international market.
Data shared by Sarafa Association shows price of gold per tola moved up by Rs1,300, reaching Rs267,700, while 10-gram bullion was sold at Rs229,510, after an increase of Rs1,115. The new rates are as follows.

This surge in local gold prices follows drop of Rs5,500, when the price of gold per tola settled at Rs266,400. In global market, price of yellow metal witnessed surge, with new rates going to 2,565 per ounce.
In October, the bullion rates shattered all charts, reaching Rs287,900 per tola, and since fluctuated in response to global market trends. The recent upward movement indicates continued volatility in the precious metals market.
