KARACHI – Gold prices in Pakistan saw another hike as prices in the international market gained traction.
Data shared by Sarafa Association shows the price of gold moving up by Rs 1,800 and settling at Rs219,800 per tola on Friday.
For the price of 10 grams, the price saw a hike of Rs1,540 and the new rate stands at Rs188,440 against Thursday’s price of Rs186,900.
Meanwhile, prices of silver remained unchanged and the price per tola stands at Rs2,650 while the price of 10 grams stands at Rs2,271.94 respectively.
In international market, prices of yellow metal touched three weeks high on Friday as greenback and bond yields plunged.
The current price stands at $2,054 per ounce and US gold futures moved up by 0.8pc to $2,067.
