KARACHI – The gold price makes a surprising comeback after moving down in the local market, as rates in the global market gained traction.
On Thursday, 24 Karats of gold saw a big jump of Rs5,700 and settled at Rs218,300 per tola.
Meanwhile, 10 grams of gold was being sold at 187,157 rupees after a hike of Rs4,887.
The 22 Karat Gold price for today is Rs199,190, the 21-karat rate per tola is Rs190,138 and the 18k gold rate stands at Rs162,975 for each tola.
Globally, the price of yellow metal in the world market is $2032 per ounce after an increase of over $50.
Bullion remained volatile in crisis hit country amid uncertainty and soaring inflation, and people prefer to buy gold as safe investment.
