KARACHI – Gold rates in Pakistan plunged in Pakistan Tuesday despite an uptick in international rates.
Data shared by Sarafa Association shows the price of 24 karat gold per tola comes down by Rs.700 to Rs.275,000 in mid-week.
Ten grams of 24 karat gold comes down by Rs600 to Rs235,768. The cost of 10 grams of 22 karat gold also saw a reduction, decreasing to Rs.216,121 from Rs.216,671.

Meanwhile, silver prices remained stable, with per tola and 10 grams both unchanged at Rs.3,050 and Rs.2,614.88, respectively.
Internationally, gold prices also saw a dip, with a decrease of $6, bringing the price down to $2,653 from $2,659. This global trend may be influencing local market prices, contributing to the recent shifts in gold rates.
