A female student committed suicide in the room of a private hostel here in the City over an unknown reason on Monday.
According to police, the 24-year-old Iqra, a resident of Mohalla Lal Jahanian Mailsi, was studying at a private university in the provincials metropolis. Police said that Iqra’s father had passed away and she was staying in a private hostel in Township. On Monday, her body was found hanging from a fan in her hostel room. Police have started further investigation from all aspects including suicide and murder. “Facts will come to light after the postmortem report and investigation,” police said.
