ISLAMABAD – Pakistanis will reportedly be paying extra amount for ghee at utility stores.
Reports shared by the digital publication said subsidized price of ghee has increased to Rs393 per kg, up by Rs58, compared to Ramadan rate of Rs335 per kg.
Despite the recent hike, the subsidy of Rs70 per kg on ghee and some other edibles remains in place. The increase in ghee prices has been linked to high procurement costs.
